Information we collect

When you contact us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code, requested service, contact preference and project details. We also collect the communication choices you select, the disclosure version shown to you, the page where you submitted your inquiry and the submission time. Please do not include payment information or other sensitive personal information in this form.

Our hosting and form providers may process IP addresses, browser information and technical logs to deliver and protect their services. Campaign parameters in the page URL may be retained in browser session storage and included with your inquiry. The website currently does not install third-party advertising pixels or analytics scripts.

How we use information

We use your information to respond to your request, discuss designs and services, prepare estimates, arrange consultations, coordinate projects, provide customer support and maintain business records. We also use information to prevent spam, protect our services and understand which campaigns produce inquiries.

Submitting a consultation request allows us to respond about that request by email or phone. It does not, by itself, authorize automated texts or enroll you in promotional emails. We send project-related texts only when you check the project text-message option. Promotional texts require a separate checkbox selection from project-related texts. Both checkboxes are optional and unchecked by default. You may leave either or both unchecked and still submit your request. Our consultation forms do not enroll you in promotional emails.

SMS consent and mobile information

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile numbers, mobile information and SMS opt-in consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent are excluded from any other information-sharing provisions in this policy.

We may provide the minimum information necessary to service providers that deliver messages and support the messaging program on our behalf. Those providers may use it only to perform those services, not for their own marketing. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Your text-message choices

FG Home and Closets offers separate optional consent for texts about your inquiry, consultation, appointments and project updates, and for recurring marketing texts such as offers and promotions. Texts may be sent using automated technology. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchasing goods or services or requesting a consultation.

Reply STOP to opt out of text messages. Reply HELP for help. You can also contact us at yan@floorguard.com or (224) 412-3526. After opting out, you may receive one confirmation text. We will not resume texts unless you provide a new affirmative opt-in. See our SMS Terms & Conditions for program details.

Email preferences

We use email to respond to your request and communicate about your project. Our consultation forms do not subscribe you to promotional emails. If you provide a separate affirmative email marketing opt-in through another enrollment process, we may email offers, design ideas and promotions within the scope of that consent. You can stop promotional emails using the unsubscribe link in those messages or by contacting yan@floorguard.com. We honor promotional email opt-out requests within 10 business days. An email marketing opt-out does not prevent necessary non-promotional communications about a project you requested.

Service providers and disclosures

Our website uses FormSubmit to process inquiries and deliver them to our business inbox at yan@floorguard.com. We use hosting and email services to operate the website and respond to you. When enabled for our messaging program, Twilio and its email services may process contact details, message content, delivery records and opt-out instructions on our behalf. These providers receive information needed to perform their services. Review FormSubmit’s privacy information and Twilio’s Privacy Notice for details about their practices.

We do not sell personal information or provide inquiry details to other businesses for their independent marketing. We may disclose information to comply with lawful requests, protect rights or safety, or resolve disputes. These disclosures do not authorize third-party marketing use of SMS consent.

Retention and security

We retain inquiries and project communications as reasonably necessary to fulfill your request, manage our business relationship, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes. We retain consent records and limited opt-out records as necessary to document permission and respect your choices. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Privacy requests and children

To request access to, correction of or deletion of information you submitted, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity and retain records required by law or needed to honor an opt-out. Our services are directed to adults; this website is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Policy changes and contact

We may update this policy by posting a revised effective date. Changes to this policy do not create consent to new messaging purposes; we request new consent when needed.
